 to the site of St Gudule and St Michael's Cathedral, seat of the
roman catholic diocese of Malines-Brussels !

This website offers you information about religious celebrations organised
at the cathedral as well as information about the community who comes from
near and afar to pray in this historic church. You will find a timetable of
the religious services as well as a list of other pastoral services offered
by the clergy and the staff of the cathedral.

The cathedral is a vibrant cultural place. The arts often contribute to the
liturgy. Various concerts and exhibitions take place, mainly organised by
"Culture & Tourism Brussels Cathedral SS. Michael and Gudula" .

The cathedral is also a remarkable archaeological site. Its history covers
12 centuries. This website offers a description of the various parts of the
building, from the 10th century crypt up to the most recent restoration a
few years ago. Volunteers will be delighted to take you on a tour once you

Through the ages the cathedral walls have witnessed a lot of important
historical events. They are also evoked in a special rubric.
